Two-Factor Authentication, also called multiple-factor or multiple-step verification, is an authentication mechanism to double check that your identity is legitimate.
Two Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your cloud programs and login details. It ensures that no one can access your account even with your password without an additional authentication process.
Two-Factor Authentication combines something you know - your email address and your password - with something you have - an authentication code created by an app on your mobile device.
Usually you'll need an authentication code each time you sign in, although you can set an option to use one code for 30 days with some applications.
99% of cloud products have this setting available and all you have to do is enable it from the settings.
